Franz in Life not Blood
Askan is an older man, he considers himself a part of the Franz but in reality he was but a servant's son. He rose to power by learning alongside Karl Franz XV and Karl Franz XVI. He was a personal servant of Karl Franz XVI and accompanied him in Portemort during one of the uprisings, where the former ambassador was killed. He was appointed as ambassador after his victory because of the deeds of his campaign.
Askan is paranoid, he has now had a taste for aristocracy and doesn’t want to give it up. He closed the embassy after the murder of Karl's brother Hans.
After Losing his family in the crossfire of the War of the Four Dukes, and nearly going insane, he left a list to Anton Rodoyevski detailing each and every corrupted member of the Assembly in Portemort. He was sent to the Helm by Lord Salazar to stay safe in a tumultuous Portemort.
