Superior Humans

One of the brilliant inventions of Sigmar, or discovery, was the ways to modify the body and create a super human, a perfect fit for his knights. Not all knights are Adeptus however, only the top of the food chain get this honor. The transformation is grueling, and many could die even if they have survived the trials of knighthood. The result however is a tank made out of bones and muscle. Adeptus have their body literraly elevated to the next evolution stage of human prowess, a glimpse into the potential of Mankind.

In this recent age, there aren't many left, because the knowledge isn't as available as before, and because most chapters have disbanded or been destroyed. The only known Adeptus in Vostroya today are Duke Furio, Sir Hektor of the Sowers, Sir Mulcebar, and Lord Salazar Vasilovic, the latter of which has elevated by other means than the knightly rituals.
