Langport
Langport was founded near the end of The Great Exodus. Its founder specifically chose this spot for its natural harbor able to accommodate a large ship building facility. It quickly grew into a large metropolis. And with the rivers sending down all manner of wood, stone and ore, it was able to flourish. It is now known as the makers of the best ships of the land.
Demographics
This is mostly a human city. However, due to its location, there are small groups of elves, dwarfs and halflings that will appear. Most of the time this is for trading.
Government
A noble is the absolute ruler of this city. Although there is a council present selected by the principal landowners, it is mainly just an advisory council.

The primary city wall surrounds the heart of the city, along with the drydocks and shipyards
Industry & Trade
The primary industry they are known for in all of New Haven is the building and augmenting of ships. Due to the sheer size of the shipyard area, they are able to work on multiple ships at once.

History
Originally, this area was overlooked during the settling days of The Great Exodus. A curious captain found the protected area from both wind and waves that could be transformed into a shipyard that would rival any he had known from the old world
Architecture
The city is built primarily from stone that is sent down the river. Some of the earlier buildings are still made out of wood.
Geography
A natural outcropping of rock extends just beyond the mouth of the river creating a natural barrier for the waves. The high cliffs along the shoreline followed by the slopping backsides down to the river's edge protects the city from the wind. The natural harbor just inside the mouth of the river is the key feature.
Natural Resources
No major resources can be found here, except the fish in the sea. They are dependent upon the surrounding areas to supply all their needs
