The Illuminated Church of Upnu

The Illuminated Church of Upnu is a major Church, recognized as a society of fellowship with the GodForce, Upnu, spanning all sentients in the world.

Structure

In the day-to-day exercise of his primatial jurisdiction, the Apex relies on the assistance of the Light's Circle.
The Light's Circle originated in the local body of priests, deacons, and notaries (lower clerics with secretarial duties) upon which, like other bishops in their own dioceses, the Bishops of Baezwar relied for help. This body includes only the leading (or cardinal) priests and deacons of the Holy Upnu and broadened to embrace the cardinal bishops (the heads of the thirteen neighbouring dioceses).
From this emerged the Sacred College of Cardinals, a corporate body possessed of the exclusive right to elect the Apex.

Public Agenda

The Church exists as a service from the Holy Upnu, to offer succor, safety, and even vengeance... for a price.
