To a Stronger Man than I, Well, I have finally returned home. It wasn't an easy journey back though the pain let up after a day or two. Maybe I just got used to it, I don't really know. In any case, I tried to not limp when Iryna saw me, but I'm fairly certain she noticed immediately. I'll tell her it was an accident. She's getting pretty close now, it won't be long before we finally are parents. Parenthood used to frighten me, but after what I saw in that accursed City of Vaults, and in that hideous woman's grove, I'm not sure I will ever be frightened of anything else anymore. I close my eyes, and all I see it tombs. I sit in silence and all I hear is laughing. I paid the hellish creature with coin and flesh, she told me that was the deal. I have no idea how long hags of her kind live but if she should ever return her rotten gaze to Milestone: I have included a map. Let a stronger man than I venture out and slay the witch for good.
