Sakti (S-awk-Tee)

What is Sakti?

Sakti comes in many names but the most used name for it is Mana. Sakti, Mana, or LIfeblood is used for spells and other craft the only ones that don't use Sakti would be the Shadow Casters   Most users of Sakti, use it as a magickal shortcut for anything.   Sakti flows through everything, it is the energy from which spells are made from. This magickal energy is a duel-edged sword though, when a Sakti user uses Sakti, they are also physically weakened. This has been the case with Nimue Umbrahold on numerous accounts. Once the Sakti user is weakened so far, they must rest in order for them to continue to use Sakti. If the user does not rest, they could risk total exhaustion and fall asleep permanently.    Sakti is also called the Lifeblood because it is the blood of the magickal serpent, Sakti'had. This serpent has been on some account be known as God, but he doesn't like to be called that.   This blood has been known to be more concentrated in others, like the Draicormr. The Draicormr are one of the only beasts that have the highest accounts of Sakti throughout their body.
This is different with Horseman like Jekkyl Hyde and Skal Hyde, who transform into Draicormr when overloaded with either emotion or Sakti.

Are there different Sakti users?

There are three catagories that a Sakti user will be catagorized by the way that they use Sakti. These groups are: Casters, Channelers, Enscribers

Casters

The first group of Sakti users are called Casters. Casters use Sakti as a casting source whether than using it for other. These Sakti users are the most abundant. Most Sakti users are classified as Casters. Casters come in a variety of shapes and sizes, such Casters are:

Channelers

The second group of Sakti users are called Channelers. Channelers use Sakti as a ever constant flow, Channelers often change with the energy they Channel. One well known Channeler is Galakrond, with others being very rare.

Enscribers

The third group of Sakti users are called Enscribers. Enscribers use Sakti to enchant and often inscribe the types of Sakti onto/into objects. One such object is the coat Jekkyl wears at all times, this was enchanted by a Runescribe by the name of Clive Ismael.

Are they are different types of Sakti?

Well yes, these types are: Decay, Nature, Blood, Elementa, Divine, Planar

Decay Sakti

Decay Sakti is shadow, death, decay, transference, and spirit. Most users don't want to use it for the fact that it's the power of death. The most known user of this type of Sakti is Galakrond, for he not only Channels this type but the Nature type as well.
Decay Sakti is often asociated with, well, death. But in that matter it's actually one of the most unique types of Sakti, other than Planar Sakti. Decay Sakti can be the one to take the spirit away from a creature, but also put that creature to rest using the take spirit. Decay Sakti is what Shadow Casters use when they Shadow Dance.

Nature Sakti

Nature Sakti is powerful but mostly docile out of the Sakti elements being able to control the wilds, beasts, trees and leaves. Mostly Galakrond uses it, but Skal Hyde has shown promise of using it as well, just in very, very small doses, becoming very weak after using it.

Blood Sakti

Blood Sakti is sometimes called hemomancy, or the dark element of Sakti, but it is the core of Sakti.   Blood flows through everything, most living things have it and Hel beings, such as the Draugr, have no use for it. This element controls the vitae and liquid that flows through the heart of creatures, making weapons and even puppetteing unsuspecting creatures with it. Jekkyl Hyde has been the most known user of the Blood Sakti.

Elementa Sakti

Elementa Sakit is the most flexible Sakti type to have been created, combining with other elements such as the Planar Sakti to create Helfire or even Niflstorms. Users can make water forcibly stop dripping from sinks because of how annoying the sound is, or command an entire forest inferno. Elementa Sakti is the most common Sakti type to be seen. Users of this Sakti type are numerous.

Divine Sakti

The Divine Sakti is the Sakti of both demonic and angelic origins. This type of Sakti is the most unknown as the users of the Sakti like to make sure the witnesses of the type can't talk anymore. Atraxa Oathsworn is a notable user of this type of Sakti.

Planar Sakti

Planar Sakti is the energy of the realms themselves, each type of Realm has its own unique frequency of Planar Sakti. It can be used to pull unsuspecting victims into the Realms, or even give the user a quick getaway via teleportation. When combined with some of the other Sakti, such as the Elementa Sakti, users may get Elemental and Planar Spells. This is such as the case for Nimue Umbrahold, as she makes use of Helfire, a type of flame that has the freezing capacities of the Realm of Hel.

Manifestation

Sakti can take on multiple forms when being used, most just depend on the type of Sakti User as said above.   For witches, Sakti can be seen as a ball of cosmic energy being gathered before the spell releases. Upon releasing the spell the energy will shift for the desired effect. In the case of the Helfire Ball spell Siobhan uses, the cosmic energy gathers and is sent forth. The cosmic energy then alligns itself with the realm of Helheim and the fire from the ball freezer-burns the target.   Horseman only use the element that is associated with what that Horseman is. Jekkyl, the Horseman of Avengence, has the control over Lightning and Hemomancy, two previous powers he had control before he became the Horseman of Avengence.
Galakrond, the Horseman of Ofnir, has a unique way of using Sakti. Instead of having it cast, he channels two different energies. When channeling, the channeler takes on the visage of what that energy is.
