Ofnir

Jekkyl and Atraxa walked to the blackened circle around Dray. The obelisk opened with a blue glow and Dray, Jekkyl, and Atraxa turned into a mix of shadow, lightning, and feathers as they were pulled into it.   The obelisk closed and they reformed in a space of blackness and boulders. Dray's blue eyes were flared. It was beautiful if not for the distant shadowed faces of horror that surrounded the chunks of earth floating in the black.   "This way!" Dray ghastly moaned as he floated ahead. Jekkyl and Atraxa followed Dray, unknown of how they were moving in this space. There were gates and other portals scattered around a central rock.   "Is that how we get to my apartment?" jekkyl drifted in front of Dray and pointed ahead of them. Dray gave a nod of acceptance and they floated to the large rock. The trio walked to the center circle. It looks like a Gate-hub Jekkyl's thoughts name it.
— Excerpt from The Nephalim's Asylum
Ofnir is the shadow of Yggdrasil, the World Tree, as such it is also the Realm between the Realms. It is also one of the settings in the novel: The Nephalim's Asylum.

Landscape

Ofnir is one of the only Realms in the Nephalim's Asylum universe that is not a copy of the Prime Realm. the only difference is how you enter the Realm. But the most consistent thing about Ofnir is the shadow that shrouds it.   Inside the branches of Ofnir, which the Shadow Casters use as a form of planar travel. To them Ofnir, or as they call it, the Shade Between is a open void with several floating debris of rock and masses of islands. Ofnir is not without its dangers though, as this place is also where the Nightmare Waves live. These creatures will only attack if looked at for periodic amouts of time.   Outside the branches of Ofnir, you get to see the darkness of the branches. This is where Ofnir gets is name, Shadow of Yggdrasil, for it looks virtually identical of the massive cosmic world tree except with more shadowy branches connecting to demi-planes where Shadow Casters have created their Umbran Realms using the Realm Rite of Shadow.

Laws of Nature

The Laws of Nature apply to Ofnir depending on where you are, Inside the branches or Outside the branches. The only thing that doesn't change is time. Time always flows in the linear motions much like the Prime Realm. Every second that ticks in Ofnir also ticks in the Prime Realm and so on and so forth.

Gravity

Gravity on The Inside
Inside the branches of Ofnir, gravity is self-dependent and is mostly used by Shadow Casters. If the Shadow Caster wills themself forward than the Caster moves forward. If the Shadow Caster wants to land on the large rocks floating in the void available, then they land.
Gravity on The Outside
Outside the branches of Ofnir, gravity works the same as the Prime realm. The misfortuned teleporter, or the Shadow Caster that completed their Realm Rite of Shadow walks on the branch like it is any solid that has gravity.
