Oneiric Choir
Oneiric Choir is the most unexpected of the many things that the Abyss has given to the universe at large. It is a semi-monotheistic religion merging weirdness worthy of the aberrants with a number of trappings that appear to resemble Christianity of old (including the Church of the Highmost).
In the end, the religion of the Choir appears to be a bit too strange for most non-Aberrants, severely limiting its conversion attempts. There are converts, however those are rare - especially as governments tend to treat the Choir in a way that's little better than for example the way the Terminal Sun is treated.
Interestingly, the Oneiric Choir maintains a decent relationship with the Church of the Highmost, to the surprise of most Church adherents. While it's by no mean friendly to it, the Church will typically tolerate the Choir's presence in the area, although this might change for the worse if the Choir's proselytism attempts start bearing fruits in the area.
Structure
The organization structure of the Oneiric Choir tends to - like the one of the Temple of the Seven - be shaped after the independent countries in the area. This means that - for example - there will be a 'high priest' for a country, overseeing the regular 'priests' of numerous temple within his domain.
Priesthood of the Oneiric Choir is a bit inque in that it only has a single rank - the initiates. Athough of several different "domains". The priests overseeing regions are simply from another domain, one dealing with more administrative jobs instead of preaching on the streets. The logic behind at least some of the domains appears to be lost to the non-Aberrants, however. There are also cases of more than one domain apparently responsible for the same thing. In short - it is a bit confusing.
The real reason behind the name of 'initiate' is kept secret from the Mankind at large, due to the Oneiric Choir deciding that it would ruin its image (already pretty bad). The sufficiently devoted and 'pure' of the initiates are secreted away to the Abyss, where they join the 'actual' Choir as the Dreamsingers. They are put to an eternal sleep, during which their dreams are supposed to sooth the God-To-Be in its slumber while teaching it things about the Mankind as a whole.
Only a small group of the dreamsingers is allowed to be awake at any given moment - during which they serve as de facto leadership of the Choir. Waking up more is considered to be something akin to the Choir's nuclear option, as every dreamsinger has an access to incredibly dangerous and powerful magicks - although typically accompanied by a rather alien mind, as when they influence the God-To-Be they are also influenced by it.
Cosmological Views
Oneiric Choir believes that the entirety of Abyss is a supernatural entity of incredible power, one they termed a God-To-Be. It is an entity so vast and alien that human brains - even the ones of the aberrants - consider an entire star system the closest palatable interpretation of what they see and hear. There are many questions pertaining the origin of the God-To-Be, very few answered.
What the Oneiric Choir is certain about that it's not yet fully 'born'. Whether it's simply yet to notice human existence and thus be 'born' as their deity or whether he is yet to qualify as being alive (and is instead more of a divine fetus) is heatly debated by the initiates, however. In either case, it is yet to start influencing the world willingly (unless the appearance of oneiric theurgies is a sign of its activity).
In the so-called meantime, it is up to to the Oneiric Choir to influence God-To-Be. It sleeps - sort of - and so the posthumans can influence its dreams by dreaming their own. Each time a person falls asleep in the Throne World of Abyss, the God-To-Be is influenced by a minuscule bit. If enough of this bits will gather, it will become a deity. One that will understand and care for its worshippers.
Ethics
In a way, the Oneiric Choir's ethical teachings are simple. Since the God-To-Be learns about Mankind from the dreams, the nicer the dreams the better the resulting deity. And its hard to have good, kind dreams if you are a wreck with PTSD, or have emotionally suffered in any way. What's more, if you do mean things to others (even outside of Abyss) your dreams will taint the God-To-Be with your every subsequent sleep.
Due to that, the Oneiric Choir promotes kindness, helping others and - to speak in broader terms - not doing to others what you wouldn't like being done to yourself. As if you do, you will influence the God-To-Be to (eventually) be more into that particular activity. And who knows? Perhaps you will be still alive at that point? From that point of view, being nice to others becomes something done due to self-preservation instinct if not out of the natural goodness of your heart.
Granted Divine Powers
Originally this wasn't a case, but for several decades now the followers of the Oneiric Choir do possess a theurgies of their own. They appear rather... eldritch, for a lack of a better words, but also share a number of traits normally associated with holy magic of the Church of the Highmost (for example the fact that it tends to work best against evil creatures).
Whether the God-To-Be started to understanding Mankind somehow after the Oneiric Choir's activities or it was the System that recognized the Choir as 'proper' religion, the result was a large growth of legitimacy of the Choir. And a spike in the number of conversions.
