The Blackguard is the elite guard that protects the High King or Queen of the Castellan Kingdoms. Any aspiring Blackguard symbolically severs all their other ties to dedicate themselves to the defense of the Monarch in a ritual known as Hallowing.
Bookwardens

The Bookwardens are an idealistic organiation dedicated to freedom of information. They are the custodians of most libraries in the Morning Realm, and provide education in reading and writing to secure this access to everyone.
Guild of Accountants

The Guild of Accountants is one of the largest employers of wizards in the Castellan Kingdoms. All the Castellan noble houses, including their vassal families, are required to hire a guild accountant specialized in the Divine Right of Taxation.
Gilded Hoard

The Gilded Hoard is the oldest and most well-known bank, with branches all across the Morning Realm. The Bank is based in the hoard of an ancient dragon.

Rangers are the keepers of the wilderness. They are experts on their local enviroment, and are tasked with managing the enviroment to increase yields, keep populations in check, and maintain the ecosystems.
