The sanctuary station

Around a small, grey moon in the outer rims of the galaxy, you can find the even smaller grey dot that is Sanctuary. The station was built as a trade station for the sector to connect with the inner territories. Almost every item you can imagine has at one time or another come through here, but food, ore, and tools are the most common. Officially the station is called S-187, but thanks to its remote location and huge crowds many criminals started calling the place Sanctuary. The name stuck and soon everyone knew about The Sanctuary station. Law enforcement has since long given up hope of keeping track of the illegal trade aboard it, and only come in search of specific criminals. The traders and organizations instead have their own guards. Despite the amount of rivaling gangs and organizations, fights rarely break out, as a nonspoken contract has put the station as a safe haven, not only from the government.

Industry & Trade

Everyone aboard the station not employed to keep it from falling apart is either a seller or buyer. Goods and services switch hands more than you can count during a day.

Guilds and Factions

Aboard you can find members from all criminal organizations and groups. The biggest and most well known is The Red Stars, having made the station their home since the very start.

Architecture

The station is very basic in its form and has a standard layout for a trading station. One big domed hall makes up the trading floor, with the machine room underneath. Four exits, one on each side, leads to the docks. Around the walls of the trading floor you can find small basic rooms for both visitors and more permanent staff.

Author's Notes

Hello! And thank you for reading my article!
This was made during the Summer Camp 2018 challenge. I won't be editing any of these to keep them for looking back on. That being said some I'm really not happy with, so I'll most likely put up an edited version at some point. If I do you will be able to find the link on the top of the page
