The Red Stars

A life of crime

The Red Stars is the biggest and most well known criminal organization. The government has many times tried to shut them down, but always came with too little too late. The Red Stars leader Langley has connections everywhere, making it hard to keep any plans secret. Nothing, from the smaller cargo ships up to entire stations, is safe from them. Over the years they've become more and more ambitious. There have been a few times where a member of the group got caught, but they didn't give any helpful information before either escaping or mysteriously dying.

Structure

At first, the only person with more power than the rest was Langley. While that is still technically true, there are certain roles within the organization he doesn't entrust to newcomers. Bigger jobs and reconnaissance is done by people who've earned his trust within the organization.

Public Agenda

I just want to right what is wrong. Take what should rightfully be ours and make sure they know they can't push us down again
— Langley

Assets

The Red Stars have many safe houses and ships to their name. Most are disguised as regular warehouses and cargo ships, but with quite a bit more security. The few times a safe house was found by the government it ended in lots of blood and a collapsed building.

History

The Red Stars have been around for a long time. Starting out as a group of ragtag thieves onboard the sanctuary station, they have slowly grown in numbers. Much of their success can be attributed to Langley, who uses his knowledge of the inner workings of the law enforcement and clever tactics to avoid them. Over the years they've expanded far outside the station, and can now be found almost everywhere the government isn't, and some places they are.

Author's Notes

Hello! And thank you for reading my article!
This was made during the Summer Camp 2018 challenge. I won't be editing any of these to keep them for looking back on. That being said some I'm really not happy with, so I'll most likely put up an edited version at some point. If I do you will be able to find the link on the top of the page
