The Milky Way (StarBourn)

It's 2455, and a storm is brewing. The known galaxy is divided into 5 territories; the Galactic Republic of Space-Faring Races (GRSR for short), the Valoran Kingdoms, the Badlands, Orion's Dove, and Trident's Verge. The GRSR and the Valoran Kingdoms are the two largest regions in the Milky Way, and naturally, they're at odds with one another. Nothing has happened yet, but everyone in the galaxy can feel it in their bones.   Meanwhile, former members of the GRSR, the Zauhlons, are planning something massive, something directly targeted towards Humanity, who they warred against over 30 years ago. Fearing another war with the vicious brutes when they had barely rebuilt from their last bout with them, Star Command sends a small strike team to figure out what exactly they're planning, and to kill the leader of the Zauhlon Legion, Lord Admiral Korruk.   The political landscape of the GRSR is tense. Tensions grow between Humanity and the Klex, who are very skeptical of the former, and question why they are treated so favorably. Rumors of treason have arisen, and that's done nothing to sooth the fire. It's hard to tell if the rumors are true when talking about the seemingly emotionless Klex.   All the while, the Valoran Kingdoms seeks to do what no species has done yet; travel to the inner rings of the Milky Way and the center of the galaxy itself. There's no telling what's hidden in these areas; undiscovered resources, a plethora of undiscovered worlds and species, or perhaps lost civilizations. Whatever the case, the Valoran Kingdoms thirst for whatever knowledge the Inner Rings hold, and that doesn't sit well with the GRSR.
