History

Long ago when the gods walked the earth they created the phoenixes and gave each a name of power. All the phoenixes lined up to receive their names but one phoenix cut the line stealing the name meant for the other. Names could not be taken away so this phoenix now named Astara took the power and became leader of his clan. Manax the phoenix who had her power taken from her was told by the gods that if she waited Astara would tear himself apart with the weight of his sin of killing humans and she would guide the world into an endless era of peace but the kind hearted phoenix wanted him to live. Deceived by the goddess Eris, Manax made a pledge that she would take burden of his sins but in turn Astara would have her fate and she would have his, she would also need to persuade Astara to not kill humans. The other gods took pity on her and gave her several powers to persuade Astara but also made her promise that if she could not persuade him that she would pass the burden onto her children. Manax and Astara would marry and Astaras murderous ways would temper over the years especially with the arrival of his daughter a Phoelix by the name of Andrasta. When the child was just four years old Manax would die to the fate bestowed upon her in the deal. Astara murdered thousands in his rage at the gods but could do nothing. Only his daughter could temper that rage and when she was murdered in cold blood his rage became unchecked and the once small but proud clan of Astara fell into chaos and ruin. No one knows what has happened to the phoenixes of the Astara clan, mortals can only hope that Astara lives for with him lies the future of peace.
