Irrech
One of the oldest cities of Istaflumina, Irrech is built around a core of temples. The oldest and greatest ziggurat is to Inanna (now known as Ishtar), goddess of love and war, but almost as great is the ziggurat temple to Anu, distant god of law and protection. Many other gods are also represented in the temple district, some of which have few worshippers these days. Irrech has a great archive, though it is not well known, that contains primarily legal and scholarly tablets (though the archivists keep almost anything given into their care), some of which were inscribed thousands of years ago.
