Soldin

Soldin is the home of the Church of light and is located at the edge of the loop in the human kingdom. The city's southern and western walls are protected by white stone walls. The east by the Sea of .... and the north of the city is enclosed by the great clear glass ends of the loop.   The city is split down the middle by the Kings blood river. The river enters the city through the western wall and flows through to the Sea on the east of the city.     The city is comprised of three main districts the slums on the north of the river and the merchant and noble district to the south. The noble district is inside the cities inner walls which form around the base of a low hill and connect to the southern wall. At the top of the hill in the noble quarter is the cathedral of light a grand structure mainly comprised of light to let the Suns light through.     The slums are enclosed by the boundaries both natural and man made on all sides so to fit the ever growing population of Soldin in they have expanded vertically up the glass wall of the edge of the loop. So have become a vertical wooden shanty town with haphazardly constructed wooden buildings placed on top of each other. The only real regulation which is in effect comes from the halfling mob which control the criminal underworld in the slums.
