Heiress Kastyln Ruehar (a.k.a. Kas)
Kas is a very adventurous spirit, seeking the thrill of any hunt or quest keeps her excited, passionate. Perhaps even hungry.
She is also extremely independent, the loss of her parents and falling into the care of a near stranger left her believing she had to know how to take care of herself, and made her push most away, especially when her parents seemed not to have time for her.
The halfbreed girl is also very hardheaded, she hates to listen to people tell her she's wrong when she will always believe she is right, and will not change her opinion or decision unless someone places the facts right down in front of her.
And though she served under two alchemy attuned parents, and a skilled fighter, she is still very amateurish, having not a proper master for her high element and still being very young.
Strengths: She is fairly skilled at fighting and espionage, as taught to her by Garek.
Kas is a fast and strong learner, if only she had more people to teach her.
She is inherently clever, likely due to her alchemy attunement, which is still very untapped.
Is an incredible tinkerer and engineer, just like her parents, and loves to get her hands on things to fix and play around with.
Weaknesses: Kas is extremely under taught, despite what skill she does have now. She has no master for her high element and she desires greatly for someone to teach her to use her abilities.
Her independence leaves her very susceptible to pushing away help from those who truly offer it. She does have some trust issues. Her immaturity can get the best of her at times, even though she grew up rather quickly due to the circumstances. Her personality has some catching up to do.

Body Features
Kas has a very eye catching appearance, with her thick bright orange locks constantly styled in some appealing way, and her confident stature, always poised and ready to go. Her eyes are light and inviting, and her features soft and feminine, though her body is well muscled and proportioned.
She is still a very young elf, and her appearance shows it. A lot of her features are still even babyish, especially her cheeks, though she does everything in her power to seem older and more mature. But by trying so hard, it does tend to give her away.

Personal history
Kastyln was born to Orym and Nava Ruehar, Orym being the famously recognized half breed that invented the Skybarge. This title weighed on her parents quite a bit, and they did seem more concerned with their inventions and the family name rather than their daughter. This did not keep her from being a fairly inquisitive and curious child, however, and her childhood was fairly peaceful. She showed the inherent abilities of an alchemist fairly early on, he natural cleverness a very clear trait of hers, but her parents were almost too busy to care.
When she was about eleven years old, there was an accident on one of the skybarges her parents had been working on. Orym and Nava perished in this horrid tragedy, leaving their daughter an orphan. She was taken in by her uncle Garek, a rather stiff individual, but a warm bed and a belly full of food in the comfort of a relative was not to be turned down. This change in families, in life so early on, did not damper Kas's personality. In fact, in only made her grow louder, more defiant, demanding further to be known, now that her parents, the ones who ignored her, were out of the picture.
She was a very bratty teen, and still hasn't quite grown out of that phase. Garek had quite a handful to deal with, and he had only taken in one young halfbreed. Well, that was what he thought. In her new home, she happened to befriend a ragtag team of orphans, or close-to-orphaned children. Despite not even quite trusting Garek yet, she thrust upon him an extra five, hungry children that would stop by from time to time (or a little.. lot more often) and certain amounts of trouble. Somehow, however, he managed to keep Kastyln tame, as well as her friends, and slowly bring her up to understand the ways of the trade and the business her worked by.
Eventually, Garek felt he had taught Kastyln enough to take her along on certain missions, and bring her into his world. She quite liked it, actually. More than he had expected. They began to move around, going wherever the job took them, and she left her group of friends in her past, though they parted on a good, strong note, and would always be there for each other in times of need.
Now, Kastyln travels with Garek, finally reveling in her lifestyle for once in her life. Now if only she had someone to teach her the ways of Alchemy..
