Personal history

Prince Mauriac II, like his father before him, is a born leader. As the son of a Great War hero, he chose to earn his place in history serving as a Captain in the Army of Madrigal under Alric I, when he was still king. Fighting in some of the worst battles of the War Against Soulblighter, he and his battalion survived, not just the fall of the Free Cities of the North, the Myrkidian Onslaught, but also the thousand mile trek over the Cloudspine and through the Barrier to Muirthemne. Following their victory over Soulblighter, Mauriac's service to the Ebis Crown was rewarded by his appointment as Prince of the city he loved - Madrigal - by way of an arranged marriage to Emperor Alric I's eldest daughter, Princess Fay. Prince Mauriac II has remained active in the military, maintaining rank as an Imperial Army General and commanding the Army of Madrigal and taking an active part of it's training and maintenance.
