Steinnok (Dwarves)

A Hardy people who's craftsmanship is unparalleled the Steinnok Live in cities of stone. Their renowned craft and goods have made them prosperous. Whether a it be a bustling city or small village dwarven merchants are always welcomed. While they're more a people of craft, some dwarves love of riches and the fame leads them to wander, and find ways to forge a story brighter than jewels.   The Dwarven clans operate in tandem with their Thains answer to the Macaw but often disagree on how things should work because of this a Dwarf of one clan may not get along with the members of another clan.

Social Structure

Steinnok are clan based. There is a Clanfather who handles the Daily demands of the clan and a Clanmother who handles the long term demands. They are usually but not always married.

Age. Dwarves mature at the same rate as humans, but they're considered young until they reach the age of 50, On average, they live about 350 years.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Most stone dwarves have skin ranges similar to humans, though there are a few that have shades of grey. This is considered to be a good omen to the clan. They are exceedingly rare.

Speed Your base walking speed is 25 feet. Your speed is not reduced by wearing heavy armor.

Darkvision. Accustomed to life underground, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. Vou can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim lighl. Vou can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Dwarven Resilienee. Vou have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage (explained in chapter 9).   Dwarven Combat Training. You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, throwing hammer, and warhammer.   Tool Proficiency. You gain proficiency with the artisan's tools of your choice: smith's tooIs, brewer's supplies, or mason's tools.   Stonecunning. Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.   You may also select either Dwarven Toughness or Dwarven Armor Training.. You may not select both.   Dwarven Toughness. Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a leveI.   Dwarven Armor Training. You have proficiency with light and medium armor.
 

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Dwarvish. Dwarvish is full of hard consonants and guttural sounds, and those characteristics spill over into whatever other language a dwarf might speak.
