Winters Tales - Summer Camp Pledge
Winters Tales is about to embark on the final leg of an intense world building journey; fleshing out the Land of Aelwyn, in time for the launch of our official flagship TTRPG livestream show "The Chronicles of Aelwyn" at the end of July. It just so happens to perfectly and coincidentally line up with World Anvil's Summer Camp 2022.
So we asked ourselves, how can we best utilize this opportunity? First off, and in answer to our Creative Goal, we want to use the 31 prompts to polish our TTRPG setting for the kick off of our campaign. We are too ambitious to assume that this will 'complete' our world, but it will certainly allow us to deep dive into the setting and expand further upon the immersive details. And to add to our intensive world building month, we will be streaming twice a week (8pm AWST on Tuesdays & Wednesdays) on Winters Tales to world build alongside our community.
This is our final sprint in the marathon, the final hour before our deadline, the last month before we go live in this world for the first time; meaning our priority is to hone in on the first location of the campaign, as well as the dangers our players will face.
Our motivation comes from not only our love of world building, the passion of our community behind us for the last year of this world building development, and the launch of our upcoming livestream show, but also, the desire to craft an incredibly immersive world that both our players and our audience will get to experience and play within. So bring on the Diamond Challenge of all 31 prompts. We are ready to finally bring this world to life.
