The Land

The Land was raised from the sea by the Dragon God, Promus roughly two thousand years ago; or that's how the elves say the world came to being. If you were to ask the dwarves they would tell you that Inguree, The Great Alchemist, formed the world after receiving the Philosopher's Stone from a previous version of the world. Though the humans say that the god-like Lords created all that is.   These religious arguments have spawned great strife. As documentation of history has only recently been adopted by some cities, no true origin can be found for the land. All that remains are oral legends. Over the past few hundred years, wars have been fought in an attempt to kill another kin's oral legends. However, with the legend being put to paper and stone, these wars have died down in small amounts.   Though, as one threat dies, another rises. An unchecked order of dwarven alchemists has created a hoard of monsters dubbed the Gafarg. Elf and humankind have thusly shunned the entirety of dwarfkind. Some have simply stopped selling goods to the dwarves, while others launch campaigns to claim the entirety of their domain as payment. The monsters now number twelve thousand and seek to swallow the whole of civilization in chaos.
