Nymph
Overview
Creations of Err and Oshhu, these demigods have authority over individual bodies of water, and are arranged in a hierarchy of command. Their very spirit is infused with the water they watch over.History
When Err and Oshhu began to create they originally oversaw everything themselves; this eventually became tiring. To ease the work of his lover, Oshhu took many Saphires and created minds from them. So they could co-ordinate, he created the first language, Tide-speach. He then set out by granting them bodies of water, and putting them in a hirearchy.Hierarchy
To keep the Nymphs in harmony, Oshhu tied the will of the nymphs to their rank. As large bodies of water flow into smaller bodies, so does the will of one nymph flow into another.Rank 1- Babble
A Babble is a lesser Nymph whose domain is usually over a tiny pond or slithering creek. They are timid and are fond of giving tiny gifts to anyone who appreciates their beauty.Rank 2- Rusher
A rusher is granted the domain of an average-sized body of water such as a lake or river. They generally quarrel with each other when their superiors are not paying attention.Rank 3- Warden
A warden is only beholden to Oshhu himself, and are granted the largest bodies of water, their domain is that of seas, long winding rivers, and the unknowable depths of the ocean. These are the most antagonistic of the nymphs and demand respect.Basic Information
