Honored Dead

Overview

Monolith took pity on some of the mortals that were trapped in the barrows. The first leaders, warriors, priests, and kings of the world deserved better than to be just trapped. While he could not stop the process of Reanimation, he did give their undead forms a special role in the barrows.
He spent a large ammount of Magic to create silver crowns. When Magic is consumed by these crowns, they guide the undead with the goal to protect the barrows.

Valuable corpses

Honored dead are the undead remains of ancient heroes. Because of their status when they were living, they are often adorned with valuable weapons, armor, and clothing, not to mention the strange crowns placed on their heads.
