Monks of this order are able to manipulate the life energies of living things. This can cause all forms of effects including healing, form changing, and even the transfer of life from one thing to another. By using the life transferring ability in small amounts, they can become essentially immortal, capable of taking the energy from an organism and taking it for themselves. There are some members of the order who were present for it's founding, nearly 10 and a half thousand years ago. Their codes and morals forbid them from using any non-healing affect on a sentient creature and true followers will refuse to weaponizing this ability. Those who are adept with the ability can control the actions of others and masters may be able to manipulate thoughts or actions, undetected by the victim.
