Forging

Execution

The Jacobian (Ethnicity) who has turned 15 is brought to a forge to stand before a group of witnesses. These witnesses vary from just the participant's family for those of more common families, to entire cities for those of the greater families, to representatives from all the major houses for members of the royal family. The participant then begins the forging of their Cheeoq-tel, or weapon of life; a that is to be carried, if not used for the remainder of their lives. Their Cheeoq-tel acts as a passport, a proof of being a Jacobian (Ethnicity), and a proof of the witness's recognition of this.

Components and tools

The participant is provided with all the tools they might require, but the materials fro the weapon must be provided by the participant or the audience.

Observance

A Forging is undertaken by every Jacobian (Ethnicity) at the age of 15. It signifies their coming of age in this the realm of Soldiers.
