The King & The Constellation

Halfway between two millenia the world is ruled by monarchs. Kings, queens, and emperors vie for power, money, and land; the lines that distinguished ally from enemy were blurred, obscured by splattered blood and coveted riches. Though scorned royals may forgive, they never forgot. Some would even set themselves on fire to watch their enemies burn.   Amid this toil stands the growing military power of the Kang Kingdom. Ruled over by a young king, the domain has systemically taken over neighboring territories. Though their military forces and tactics have been unmatched, the cracks in the Kingdom's armor begin to show. Trade conflicts to the south and strained relations in the court could spell disaster for the Kingdom.   On one of his tours of conquest, a high ranking Kang General occupies a remote village to the northeast. During what he thinks will be a routine mission, he finds something most curious. A diamond in the rough, a beautiful young man with onyx hair and a constellation on his face. The prideful General decides then and there that the young man with the stars on his face will make a fine gift for his King.   The young man begins life as a concubine for King Kang Daniel. Through the eyes of the concubine, a completely different face of the Kang Kingdom and those who call Castle Jeon home is revealed...
