Mato Ifindo has been a family business for eight generations. The current owners are Uz-Kogu and their wife Ilpa. While their son Udiz shows little interest in the bar, their younger daughter Atik works as one of the barkeepers and will probably take over in a couple of years.Barkeepers
Besides Atik and her husband Uvub, six more barkeepers are currently employed by the Uz family. Each floor is served by two of them in alternating shifts.- 1st floor: the siblings Ta-Tiri and Ta-Dini

Entertainment
Music throughout the cocktail bar is managed by an Artificial Intelligence named Zatevugli (literally, "song tailor"). Its social interface mimics a musical note with Rul-like eyes and a stylized feather. While its sentience is limited, regular guests tend to treat it like a beloved pet. One of the barkeepers, On-Gemu, is also known for having a beautiful voice and singing along to the music while he works.History
Opening the Bar
The building as a whole sits on the western shore of the Findonoha Lake, in the Finkunto port area close to where the Lehovulru River leaves. The hotel below the Mato Ifindo was among the first ones established in this area, offering rest to the many traders and travellers from the north. In the year 656 VZR, a barkeeper named Uz-Rirak had the idea of opening her own cocktail bar on top of that building. She made a deal with the owners of the hotel complex and obtained their permission in return for offering discounted prices to hotel guests. The bar officially opened on Uvonoma 16 of the year 658 VZR. It only had two floors at that time. The third one was added in 684 VZR, and the fourth one followed in 792 VZR.A Unique Cocktail

Creation
In 722 VZR, the bar celebrated the 64th anniversary of its opening. The owner at that time was Uz-Lune, a passionate barkeeper in his own right. He created a special cocktail called Konlaz Findomi (literally, "lake soul") for this occasion. The cocktail was the best-selling beverage on that day and became a unique selling point soon afterwards. To preserve that uniqueness, the Uz family has been keeping the recipe secret to this day. It is never shared with anyone outside the core family, and unlike the regular cocktails, Konlaz Findomi is always prepared behind closed doors.Teasing and Trickery
The mystery surrounding this cocktail regularly attracts tourists from all over Ranul, and the bar's owners enjoy fueling that curiosity. In 743 VZR, Lune's son Uz-Oblum announced that anyone who correctly deduced the recipe would earn a lifetime of free drinks, on the condition that they never shared their findings with anyone outside the Uz family. The most famous attempt at uncovering the secret was one made by a genetics student in 793 VZR. He smuggled a sample out of the bar and tried analyzing the DNA of the ingredients. However, by the time he had sobered up enough to operate the necessary devices, the pafeni enzymes had broken down most of the genetic material. All he could do was to confirm the two ingredients that were already obvious by taste.Wait a moment! Danokon must know the recipe, right?
Special Guests
Watch it, kids! You really want to disturb the Responders while they're cooling down after work? ... Didn't think so.Some time during the last kuzad, people started joking that this bar had to be the safest place in all of Western Redo-Iv. This is because the Mato Ifindo counts the district's Special Responders among its regular guests. Back when the current Executive Chief joined that elite unit, she began bringing her colleagues to this place which had already been her favorite during her law studies. Over time, they made a habit of coming here after their missions. Locals enjoy remembering the day when a group of Reborn Ran-E-Zu chose the Finkunto port as the target of a terrorist attack. Instead of crippling the local infrastructure, they became the living proof that unarmed, exhausted and slightly tipsy Responders are still a force to be reckoned with. Before the on-duty half of the unit had even arrived, those visiting the bar had already ushered the civilians to safety, disarmed the explosives in the dock area and arrested the terrorists in question.
And then they handed them over to the others, came back here and finished their drinks. On the house, naturally.
Tourism
Mato Ifindo is well-known among students attending the University of Zakidema. Many student associations traditionally invite newcomers to this venue, introducing them to eachother in a relaxed atmosphere with good, affordable drinks and the famous view of the lake.
For similar reasons, the bar often hosts social gatherings in the context of scientific conferences. Its location near a major trading hub makes it easily accessible by ground, air and water, and many conference guests stay in the hotel below.
