The Intergalactic Federation of Sentient Beings

After the human race found its footing in interstellar travel, it was discovered that they truly weren’t alone in the universe. Many races far more advanced than them had already been traveling the stars for eons. Upon discovering the human's technological progress, a diplomatic party from Sel Xozek'irth Vokolst o Uywryx (roughly translated to The Intergalactic Federation of Sentient Beings, or IFSB to the human race) was sent to Earth to welcome them as an advanced race and offer the opportunity to join the IFSB. Earth’s leaders promptly agreed to the alliance for the benefit it offered for safe travel outside their planet.   Since that time, with the help of other races and new intergalactic trading networks Earth was granted access to, the human race has advanced further and become a leading civilization in the IFSB. Having mapped most of the known universe within the IFSB jurisdiction and settling on new planets as well as setting up planetary diplomats throughout neighboring territories, humans have become a well known and respected race.
