The Crossroad

Nominally referring to the intersection of five roads at the center of Mabe Town, the Crossroad is a trade route that stretches across Central Hyrule, connecting all corners of Hyrule. There are five main segments that make up the Crossroad itself with smaller branches and tributaries the further one gets away from Mabe.

The Crossroad is never referred to in the plural mode.

Most of the Crossroad is kept above Hylian regulation for roads, allowing for three or more wagons to pass abreast. Braziers and road markers have been erected every 4km from Mabe, with additional markers as one heads towards Castle Town denoting distance to the capital.

Purpose / Function

Connects Mabe Town with several settlements across Hyrule including Castle Town, Gate Town, and Windvane Town within a couple days travel.
