Sevens
CU-A777-PVE (a.k.a. Sevens)
The subject known as "Sevens" at the time of writing, is a homunculus soldier, found and accidentally decanted in the crevice city of Redwalk amidst an illegal alchemical operation disrupted by the city Authority.
He has shown the usual affinity for following orders as most other homunculi, but at this time has also displayed a rather impressive single-mindedness, becoming almost blind to everything else. Currently, he only leaves the side of my partner, Professor Myrrú Skór, when explicitly ordered to. Even then, I have to say he looks rather morose at the prospect. When allowed to do what he likes, he silently guards her or her room, only speaking when spoken to. He will do this without rest, foregoing sleep or eating, unless someone arrives that he deems worthy enough under some mysterious criteria, or until dismissed by her directly.
If I had to hazard a guess, it has something to do with people he views as on par with him in combat prowess, or simply raw power, as I have not been deemed good enough under his criteria, despite my abilities as an arcanist. I can only assume this is because he caught me off guard, restrained me, and placed a shard of glass against my throat moments after he was accidentally decanted.
I suggested to the professor that we could test this idea, but she disallowed it. Her concern was twofold, being both protective of the subject as well as not wanting to reinforce a behavior that we don't truly know the mechanics behind. She made the valid point that should the subject view me as an enemy or rival, it would make our work all the harder, given the proximity with which I work with Professor Skór.
The Professor has stated she will simply ask him the impetus for such behavior, hoping to gain better insight into the subject, as well as his creator.
If we know how he was programmed in that tank, we might get some sort of hint as to his purpose. Learn his purpose, and we may learn his creator's by proxy. Learn that, and we may just finally know if 'Sevens' as he asked to be called, can actually be trusted in the long run.
Or if he needs to be destroyed.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
In near-perfect physical condition, Sevens would be an ideal example of physicality and form if he wasn't a homunculus. In fact, it would be harder for him to fall out of this range given the optimizations that his form has been given.
Despite this, it's clear he hasn't reached physical maturity, as he is anywhere between a head and three and a half heads shorter than adult homunculus, depending on their genus.
Facial Features
Despite being freshly decanted, with no history (within his memory or what documentation we could find on him within the lab) of being out of that tube previously, and being healthy in every other way, he is missing a notch on his left ear. The subject has stated he has no memory as to why he is damaged in such a way, and Professor Skór suggested that it may simply be a quirk of his creation, or perhaps the subject was tagged there during his gestation.
I'm not sure I'm inclined towards either answer, but I have seen the subject rubbing the location of the notch between his fingers when he is not 'on duty' so to speak, and deep in thought.
Identifying Characteristics
Opalescent colored snakeskin in places on his body, most noticeably along his jawline and the cheeks of the face, as well as the back of the hands, which crawls up the wrist, encircles it, and then continues to crawl up the arms. When upset, these scales can
On his back is the standard alchemical markings placed upon homunculus, so as to allow authorities, other scientists, or any interested party to know his specific makeup. The tattoo of a great hooded serpent (seemingly of the Apophis species, a massive serpent found in the eastern deserts) seems to weave its way around the alchemical circle and geometric elements of the markings on his back. Unclear if the tattoo is baked into his development as a homunculus, or was given to him after his body was fully grown.
Apparel & Accessories
Currently, his only clothing is the Authority uniform given to him soon after arriving at headquarters, which he keeps immaculately clean. The closest he's come to anything even resembling conflict with any of our staff (other than myself on occasion), is nearly coming to blows with a street officer who spilled coffee onto his uniform.
I'm unsure if he is simply attached to the clothing as one of his only possessions, or if there is some mechanism within the subjects mind that drives such rigid behavior. The Professor tells me that it wouldn't be uncommon for a homunculus to be programmed in such a way, much to my dismay.
Perhaps I will give him a gift, to both try and salve the bad blood between us, and to try and test those mechanics. Provide him with a fitting and a suit, and see how he treats it.
