THE HOLLOW

No one is quite sure how far down the Hollow goes, where the bottom is, or if it even ends at all. Some believe that the world's creators live at the bottom, while some believe there is no end to it. One thing can be agreed upon by each and every person who lives along the edges of the Hollow, though, despite differing views on it: the magic of it is not to be reckoned with.

The Hollow is split into layers known as rings, each consisting of their own sub-species, customs, and culture. The further down into the Hollow one explores, the more magic they will come to discover. While the top is nearly identical to what we would consider medieval, it quickly spirals downward into a chaotic collection of creatures who feed on those who stray too far, carnivorous plants, and people with abstract features. No one is quite sure how strange it gets past the populated areas, as few make it back to tell the tale.
