Niccola
Reaper Niccola of the Almagro
The host of the Clay News Network radio, rather introverted and quiet in person.
She holds great respect for her daughter Robin and her abilities, but believes her employ of them is a bit misguided sometimes. Niccola also gets along very well with her companions of the Four Skulls, particularly Uriel Maximin, who usually ends up keeping Niccola's sudden capricious whims in check.

Wears a Reaper gambeson, a breathing mask outfitted with an iron crown, and wields her aldonite: A specialized Caustic Crossbow that fires explosive hydrosulphuric acid bolts.

Personal history
As a child, Niccola was feeble and unassuming, characteristics not really appreciated in Ardent society. The day she would have to face the Gauntlet approached fast, and she didnt seem like a good fit for any caste. It was around this time she would get involved with René Senkapa and her Cult of Thorns, who took her under her wing despite her apparent weakness. Because René could see through this, while others could not.
Others, except for one person. Niccola's consort, Shay, also saw her inner strenght. He encouraged her to try different things. It was during one of their communications over radio (since Shay was over at Glory at the moment) that he noticed her voice was different. While in person she was shy and soft-spoken, over the phone she sounded confident and with the boom of thunder. Niccola aced the Gauntlet, got sorted into the Kurru caste, and chose the Almagro ascendancy.
Her partnership with the Cult of Thorns did not cease, however, and this created a rift between she and Shay, who was increasingly involved with the Lances of the Regent. Under René's command, Niccola would form the Four Skulls, intent on the destruction of the Conclave Government and all the faction leaders that supported it.
Years passed. In the months prior to The Freykorp Incident, Niccola and her daughter Robin got in contact through the then underground Radio Liberty with other resistance leaders such as Iwisa. As open rebellion broke out, Niccola both orchestrated the uprisings and interfered in Stender communications, greatly harming their ability to organize. Meanwhile, Four Skulls member Gabriel Militon would sneak through the chaos into the city and assassinate Lance Cleos Cassidy.
In the aftermath of the Incident, both the Stender Corporation and the Conclave would retreat from Clay, the former crippled after substantial casualties and the latter having lost a Lance, presumably to crossfire, which created divisions and mistrust among its ranks. Niccola would go on with her radio, now no longer a clandestine organization, and continue to form part of the Four Skulls.
Intellectual Characteristics
While Niccola is known to act randomly sometimes, what actually happens is nobody really understands her motivations. Depending on who she speaks to or how she feels about them at the moment, she can be very helpful and informative, or deliberately obscure and complicate things.
Pragmatic Uriel stays with her to act as grounding, keeping her an asset to the team instead of a liability.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Niccola craves attention, and rewards those who give it to her with unending loyalty. This is the main reason she resents Avery Griffin, whom always ignored her and never noticed her advances, and instead blindly follows René Senkapa after she took her in as a child that was having trouble preparing for the Gauntlet of Hunters.
While at first she would seem quite reserved, all she does is aimed toward being noticed by people she respects. It would seem she actually longs for her secrets to be discovered.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
While extremely introverted in person, telecommunications are where Niccola really shines. Her stentorian voice can be heard over the loudest static, and her commands and instructions are clear and inspiring.
She is also a capable and precise sniper, her natural potential for being ignored proving valuable for getting into position, taking her shot and then disappearing without a trace.
Likes & Dislikes
Greatly enjoys communication, prosperity, and righteousness. Deeply admires famous historical conquerors such as Tory Necul and René Senkapa.
Hates to be ignored, but doesnt really make it easy to reach to her, isolated as she is in her tower most of the time. She also has trouble admitting things will not always go her way.
