Vault-Tec: Midwest Branch

Assets

Vault-Tec Midwest is the administrative building for the Vault-Tec Midwestern Branch and can currently be found in the ruins of downtown Milwaukee. Although not much can be found now, the entrance to Vault 7 can be found in subbasement 13. However, no one has been able to enter.

History

Before The Great War, Vault-Tec promised Americans a safe haven, a refugee, from complete nuclear Armageddon. Over one hundred vaults were built across the U.S. While some Vaults provided the safety they promised, most vaults were designed to experiment on its dwellers. Although not all within Vault-Tec were aware of the experiments that were going to be done, the executives at Vault-Tec were all aware. Vault-Tec's Midwestern Branch oversaw the construction, development, and design of all Vaults found in the current Great Lakes Wastelands.

Technological Level

Vault-Tec lead the world in engineering. Their maximum technological potential was never disclosed to the public. Rumors range that Vault-Tec utilized alien technology while others believe that Vault-Tec completely scammed the government of tax payer money.

Foreign Relations

Vault-Tec Midwest Branch was famous when it declared it would lead the diplomatic campaign of providing vaults in other countries. Host countries were able to decide what purpose each of their vaults will have and who will be allowed to be a dweller. Vault-Tec's Midwestern Branch famously built Vault Juarez in Mexico, Vault Kampala in Uganda, and Vault Sydney in Australia. Each of these vaults were built for heads of states of their respective of country. Therefore, these were the vaults Vault-Tec had no way of monitoring.

Infrastructure

It is unknown how many Vaults exist throughout the Great Lakes Wastelands. Exploration through Vault-Tec Midwest shows that all hard drives were set to self-destruct in the event of a nuclear attack on the U.S.    However, some Vault-Tec technology can still be found. Communication towers marked with the Vault-Tec logo can be found. All Vault-Tec vaults and properties will have highly dangerous robots and automatic turrets.
