The Glimmering Wastes

To the Glimmering Wastes, colonised by masses of settlers from the old continent after word has spread about the discovery of valuable Magic Crystals...   But once the mining operations started rolling and there was a wish of exporting the Crystals back home, the settlers found out that the Sea has dried out overnight, leaving them trapped to make a living in this harsh new land.   Crystals and metal were fashioned into new fascinating inventions, and a small civilisation started to sprawl over the Desert, intersecting with native life-forms and digging up new secrets...   This is a world of: Sand, Wild West-like people, Crystal-powered metal machinery (like Trains, Airships, Automaton Servants, Kettles, Weaponry, Trains again, etc.), Desert Beasts, Rituals to old gods, Underground dwellings and ancient civilisations.   May contain traces of: Red Dead, Mad Max, DUNE, Star Wars, Other Wastelandy or Deserty things.
