Scoundrel
Class Tags: #Envoy, #Operative, #Rogue
The Scoundrel can be called a con-man, a huckster, an outlaw, a rogue, or a rake. Scoundrels have a variety of tricky skills -- subterfuge, larceny, sabotage, stealth, intimidation -- whatever it is that needs to be done to make your own way in this difficult world. You don't pull the wool over your eyes like you've seen others do. You know that no matter how much shiny wrapping is put on things, the world is still a harsh, brutal place. A person's gotta do some tough things to survive in a tough world. A person's gotta do tougher things to ensure their children's survival sometimes too.
Scoundrels aren't all criminals, and they're certainly not all unscrupulous. They do all make their own way. Scoundrels are independent.
Individual Role: A Scoundrel is a fast, scrappy trickster. They've got stuff hidden up their sleeves and they pack more whallop than you'd expect them to.
Group Role: A group relies on their Scoundrel when they need to get in someplace they're not supposed to be, when there are people who need to be shot, or when something needs to be sabotaged.
Societal Role: A Scoundrel is not a member of polite society. They operate on their own or with a small group of like-minded individuals outside of the status quo.
Advanced Scoundrels: Advanced Scoundrels are rogues of legend. They pull off amazing capers and plans and can make it home after even the absolute worst turns of fate.
