An Olympian is a shadow of a rumor. Debate rages in scholarly circles about whether or not they truly exist, and those who know how to find one are very aware of the gravity of the secret they hold. According to the rumors, an Olympian could be anyone, could be anywhere. The Olympian is the knife in your back, and the mysterious justification for your firing. The Olympian is faster and smarter than you, and they always have a plan in their back pocket.
In reality, Olympians are a guild of assassins, spies, diplomats, and soldiers. They operate in secret, working in the shadows to manipulate politics and the course of history. Olympians know that humans can't be trusted to make their own decisions, or to keep their structures of power fair. Because of this, Olympians use all manner of underhanded tactics - blackmail, sabotage, impersonation, and assassination - to ensure that things remain the way that they should be.
Individual Role: An Olympian is a fast, intelligent infiltrator. They are skilled with attacks and with keeping their identity secret. They move quickly, avoid attacks, and defeat enemy defenses.
Group Role: An Olympian's job is to get the group where they need to go, to kill enemies quickly and mercifully, and to find things that are hidden.
Societal Role: The Olympian's identity is a secret, and they are widely feared worldwide for their prowess in death-dealing and secret-stealing.
Advanced Olympians: As Olympians advance, their ability to slay targets and infiltrate well-guarded places continues to improve. At high tiers, they can impersonate anyone, get in anywhere, kill anyone with surprise, and live to escape afterwards.
