Sarai is the Headmaster of the Tower of Babel. She is a shrewd diplomat, a fierce defender of the innocent, and a powerful bender of space-time capable of stepping through wormholes across vast distances. She is also Internet-famous on Nordic Frog Beach, with a massive following on the fan-created social media sites made to idolize her. She carries a camera drone everywhere she goes and records her adventures, posting them onto the Nordic Frog public net for any to watch. She uses these videos to educate people about the dangers of the Portal Network, show off the exotic locations that she gets to see, and to advertise the fame of the order of X-Templar.
It is exactly because of this constant coverage, and the fact that Sarai is one of the world's most famous heroes, that it is so disturbing that she is missing. The last imagery of her that exists came from rare metals miners on the Anansi-human joint mine world, Magnamine. Sarai had traveled to Magnamine in order to defend it from marauders sent by Nel-Tesk. In the final video of her, the Maeglin himself made an appearance before the video cut out.
The Tower of Babel and the order of X-Templar are in chaos since her disappearance.
