Severin Silverhands
Severin Silverhands was the most recent Lord-Mayor of Ralindor, and perhaps its most universally-reviled. He was appointed the position young and abused his power often. He drafted the infamous Law of the Hand and created the Thieves' Guild of Ralindor as a means to combat the Cloak, but it was evidently just an excuse to get the city's criminals under his thumb. Perhaps his most scandalous offense was the rumored embezzlement of 50,000 gold pieces from the city's coffers. There was no evidence to prove Severin was guilty, but that much gold did go missing from the treasury, leading to a brief recessionary period in Ralindor. Shortly thereafter, he was ousted by an angry mob and strung up in the streets for his other crimes. He was succeeded by his considerably more-popular cousin, Laeral Silverhands.
