Loremaster
Loremaster Boldog is renowned for his dedication to exploring the coastal realms and beyond for lost and undiscovered lore and artifacts of a magical nature. His name has been attached to many of the discoveries made in this field over the past forty years since he finished his loremaster training.
Physical Description
Apparel & Accessories
Ever the epitome of a loremaster, Sivus is never found without the robes that identify him as such. Exquisitely crafted, his robes have a plethora of pockets, often filled with arcane devices and alchemical wonders
Specialized Equipment
Loremaster Sivus Boldog is often accompanied upon his expeditions by an arcane automaton of his own design. While it bears similarities to a golem, its full capabilities and functions are known only to Sivus, and possibly some of his offspring.

While he studied at one of the more prestigious Collegium of the realms, he has always regreted not being able to study at Rook Manor before it's destruction.
Employment
Sivus Boldog is considered to be a full Loremaster based upon his many accomplishments. Technically though, he is still a Journeyman Loremaster, as he has never secured an advisors position with a patron. While many lords and barons have courted him for such a position, he has so far refused these offers. Many say it is his dedication to his research, but some hint that it is because he feels anyone below the rank of Duke or Duchess is beneath his notice.
He is arguably the most accomplished Alchemist in the Realms of Man.
Accomplishments & Achievements
His individual accomplishments are too numerous to list individually. Perhaps a list of categories will suffice;
- Explored and cleared several Lost Ruins that many claim predate the Elves
- Recovered several lost Wizard scrolls from the ruins of Aespoar, and other forgotten sites.
- Discovered many new arcane techniques of crafting constructs, most of which he shared with others.
- Researched alchemical tomes that survived the Crossing, and using flora and fauna of the Bright Lands, reformulated them to reintroduce them to mankind.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Knowledge is what motivates Sivus, at least as far as any outside observer is likely to determine. The truth is not far from the mark, but significantly more sinister. Loremaster Sivus Boldog seeks power. To be precise, as he is wont to do, he seeks to discover Magickal power. In sufficient quantities to enable him to wrest control of mankind's civilization from the foppish and slow-witted nobles who so carelessly "rule" the coastal realms. Only someone well versed in arcane lore, with the genius to discover new magick formulae, has the right to rule society. That someone being, of course Sivus himself.
Likes & Dislikes
Sivus despises Warlocks , necromancers, and the foolish cultist who serve them. Anyone who holds truck with Daemons deserves to be put down in the most brutal manner possible. Speaking of anything related to daemons will sent the good Loremaster off on a vicious rant usually lasting for hours. While he never speaks of the source of his hatred, not even to his children, it is suspected that a daemon cultist was instrumental in the death of his first wife.

Contacts & Relations
Sivus maintains cordial relations with many wealthy nobles throughout the realms of man to help fund his expeditions. He often sells the artifacts he deems unnecessary to his research to those nobles with an interest in arcane trinkets.
While his accomplishments are graciously recognized by all the Dukes and Duchess of the coastal realms, he has yet to earn one as a patron. Such an honor would open up endless possibilities for discovery.
Through a series of coded letters and dead-drops, Sivus cultivates contacts within several daemonic cults. He will use any tool at his disposal to further his research. And when they become bothersome, as they always do, he will discard them as the rubbish they are.
Family Ties
Twice a widower, he has four children:
- Captain Zatos, his eldest son (29) is a captain in the duke's guard
- Belalea, his eldest daughter (26) is a healer known locally as "the angel of low-town"
- Junior (19) is technically the older of Sivus' twins from his second wife. Junior assists his father, and is well on his way to becoming a loremaster as well
- Nanya (19) is a talented Scribist, but her abilities seem to go unappreciated by her father
Religious Views
Sivus holds little esteem for any religion. He makes no attempt to keep his opinions secret. Although he does refrain from sharing his more challenging opinion that there is little to no difference between the faithful worshiping gods and cultists venerating daemons. If that tidbit was known widely, then renowned scholar and explorer Sivus Boldog would likely be a forgotten corpse in some darkened alley.
