Ducal Guard of Dalishae Duchy

The soldiers and knights of the ducal guard protect the Duke of Dalishae and all that he holds dear. They are renown for their fierce loyalty and matchless military skill. Each company of the ducal guard are assigned different districts of the city to patrol and protect. Only two districts of Lumenos do not regularly see patrols of the Ducal Guard. Those are Low Town, which is patrolled by the self-organized Marine Guard, and the warehouse district, which is patrolled by mercenary guardsmen hired by the Merchant's Guild.

Structure

The ducal guard consists of seven companies. Each company is made up of approximately one hundred soldiers. The companies are sub-divided into four units of about 25 troops. These are, in turn, made up of five squads typically made up of five troops each.

• The first company is commanded by Captain-Major Ravi Durant, and is directly responsible for the safety and security of the Duke.
• The second company is commanded by Captain Quentin Hauten, and is responsible for the security of the palace grounds.
• The third company is commanded by Captain Lucien Foi, and is responsible for patrolling the religious quarter, and maintaining the beacon of the great lighthouse.
• The fourth company is commanded by Captain Zatos Boldog, and is responsible for protecting the noble quarter.
• The fifth company is commanded by Captain Jules Obiar, and is accountable for the security of the northern merchant district.
• The sixth company is commanded by Captain Ridge Coyne, and is tasked with patrolling the southern merchant district.
• The seventh company is commanded by Captain Lance Paroi, and is entrusted with securing the city walls of Lumenos.

Public Agenda

All actions taken by the Ducal Guard is aimed at the protection of Duke Chalcedon, and the security of his city Lumenos.
