The Fist of The Nine

For 700 years, mankind was at war with itself. Alliances formed and disintegrated, greed fueled the fire in peoples' hearts, and the sanctity of life itself was near nonexistent.

Seven hundred years of war - seven centuries of chaos and bloodshed and despair, brought to an end only by the arrival of the Dei.

Holy things as they were, they made a pact with mankind - the humans would offer them refuge on earth, and, in turn, the Dei would serve as the protectors of the realm of man. Three of humanity's strongest warriors came forward to deliberate, and the treaty was sealed, marking the end of a tiresome era of sin, and the beginning of mankind's rebirth.

With the Dei appeased, the world rebuilt itself, humans converging and dispersing with the earth around them, clans forming and mingling and disbanding until nine of them found their place in the realm of man.

They called themselves the Fist of the Nine, a global alliance to preserve what their ancestors had worked so hard to achieve. And in that moment, at last, the world was at peace.

But now, something has changed. In the midst of what might be the first civil war since the Seven Eras of Sin came to an end, a sinister plan is unfolding.

The appearance of a blood-red sun prompts rumours of a revolution - or a war - that could end mankind as they know it.

Seals are turning up missing, broken, destroyed. Suspicion is growing among the clans. Trust is dwindling.

And somehow, somewhere, something is coming.
