Dragon

These strange creatures are a symptom of rising Hegel levels in the stations. Dome C so far has been unable to stop them from coming into our world, but it does tell them firmly to go away and hang up warning signs not to give any change to otherworldly monsters or make eye contact with them.   Dragons appear as humans going through the public transport system, usually clothed in close imitations of Secret Police uniforms, randomly checking citizen IDs and other information. They are not from any specific department. In fact, when asked about their superior officers, they only give unintelligible syllables at best, and do unspeakable things at worst. Sometimes they take people away when they cannot answer their random and terrifying questions ("How many shoestrings do you own?", "Do you think this is funny?", "Did you memorize your Citizen Identification Number?", "Where did you buy this jacket?", "What time is it right now?").   They are most likely not human. Most humans can not walk through walls, which all Dragons can do, and some Dragons have unusually high knowledge of City One Metro and Kaskadian Government inner workings, which few humans managed to figure out. They also exist in City Seven South.

Did you know?

  • Over time they have become part of urban culture and many transport maps even display areas of high Dragon activity.
  • Some people claim Dragons are supposed to look out for foreign agents or keep public order in the Morass, but this is silly because foreigners are mandated to carry large signs displaying their nationality and there's cameras everywhere anyway. Dragons are most likely not deliberately placed in the system by the Secret Police.
