Ceremonial building (because names are hard)

The place to celebrate life, and a place to honor dead.

Structure

The ceremonial building is usually quite small, especially the local ones built among houses. It's only in cities where you can hope to find larger ones, and even those aren't as huge or grand as most government buildings. They do however hold a big place in peoples lives. Usually consisting of only two rooms, one at the entrance where you can take of your outdoor clothes, shoes and wash your hands, and then the ceremonial room. It can be arranged to fill a large number of roles, from holding birthday parties, weddings, funerals and all social gathering in between.

Holiday gatherings

while always open to anyone, the ceremonial building is always extra open during holidays. Whether people want to come and eat, socialize with friends and strangers, or simply go somewhere warm/cold you can always find a place in the building. Volunteers can sometimes bring traditional food, decorations or other things associated with the current holiday, and everyone pitches in.

Weddings

You can always see when a wedding is taking place from the blue and white flowers hanging at the door. This is one of the few events when people are discouraged from entering unless they've been invited. It is only after the ceremony that the building opens up, and during the dinner, anyone can come in and congratulate the new couple. It is common to bring your own food and offer the couple if you do this, and it's seen as rude if you don't and still take part of the other food brought by the family and friends of the couple.
