The Fairy Realm

A land of impossibility and dreams, populated by a beautiful, dangerous people of unimaginable magic and power.   The Fairy Realm is a flat world, with just two major landmasses bounded by oceans that ultimately drop off into the cosmos. Four moons dominate the night sky, and there is no true daylight - the world exists in an eternal twilight, never brighter than sunset. The land is covered in mountains, lakes and forest. The rock is rich with precious minerals, and its caves home to several fairy races. The forests are populated predominantly by flying races, and the trees are sentient creatures who begin life as mobile, human-like sapling dryads, before ultimately growing roots and settling into the forest, communicating to other trees and fairies via telepathy.   The world's people are known as Fairies; a wide and varied population of many races, including nymphs, pixies, sirens, goblins, wraiths, and more.   The Fairy Realm's ocean floors and riverbeds are littered with portals to other realms - including the human world. Fairies frequently use these portals to visit humans; some with benevolent intent, others with malevolent plans. No matter what the intent, all fairies are a danger to humans.
