Orelock Prison is a former mine repurposed into a max security prison for some of Sichelan's most notorious criminals. An underground fortress designed to be impenetrable by any means, to hold anyone from mere men to the strongest of mages.
Located on the Ironfoot Island of northeast Silva, its isolated nature makes it impossible to escape. For its hundred of years of service, only a few got close to breaking free.

The Pit

History

Its early history saw it as an iron mine for the northeast of Silva, as Ironfoot Island was rich in the ground beneath. The mine saw itself being one of the larger providers of iron within the region, providing for a large portion of the production on the mainland.
After the resources lessened over the years, it became abandoned as it could not sustain its own operation. Neglect made it dangerous to explore over time due to collapsing tunnel systems and creatures moving in.
