Aviaar
The bird folk of Nonzanope commonly known as the Aviaar come in two basic varieties, those who can fly and those who cannot. The airborne Aviarr are called Aarakocra and view themselves as the benevolent superiors to the flightless Kenku.
While all Aarakocra appear as bipedal winged bird people they can present as almost any bird of prey such as Falcons, Eagles, Owls, Kestrels and so on. Kenku look like flightless bipedal ravens who are incapable of original speech or sound instead mimicking the speech and sounds of others they hear in order to communicate vocally. Most Kenku communicate with each other using a coded series of clicks and clacks as a form of Pseudo language. Fiercely intelligent the Kenku choose to allow the Aakaocra to hold positions of leadership so long as the Kenku are allowed autonomy in their chosen fields of study and research. Kenku are always eager to find new knowledge and designs in order to reproduce and improve on them.
The Aviaar of Nonzanope prefer to keep to themselves when they are not seeking out new knowledge and truths. Largely a philosophical people the Aarakocra have chosen to remain neutral in any wars or alterations since they have established contact with the rest of the Etherium. Because of this Nonzanope has become a prime location for politics between the C.T.U and the FeyCol when a neutral location is needed.
