Mossy Glen Forest

The Mossy Glen Forest is a thriving ecosystem that is home to a variety of Pokemon species that are considered rare in other regions. The forest dates back the earliest days of the Eternis Region's settlement, when settlers attempted to start a human-run berry orchard. However, there was no accounting for the unusual mineral content of the soil, which proved to be especially beneficial to the newly introduced species of plants and trees. Eventually, the orchard became unmanageable and was left to the wild Pokemon to populate.   The forest is a popular spot for berry enthusiasts, who will risk encounters with voracious, berry-loving Pokemon in hopes of obtaining rare, expensive berries. Others will harvest the special Sweet Scent Mulch, a rare type of mulch that is packed with nutrients for the soil.   Deeper into the forest, the Pensive Shrine can sometimes be found on rare occasions--not even experienced guides know exactly where it is located anymore. The shrine was erected by the earliest settlers to pay respects to a Pokemon that supposedly served as a guardian over the unnamed lake there. However, as the surrounding forest sprung up around it, the shrine has long been abandoned. If you encounter the Pensive Shrine, it is considered to be act of fortune, and it is advisable to leave some sort of offering for safe passage through the forest.
