Sector 11
The Heart of Sector-11
"You can tell Sector 11 was charted during the Great War. There aren't any Rails connecting it to the outside sectors, and all the paths run like rivers through the Scrapyards. It's a half-week trip from the Basin to the High City, through the most barren and lifeless blocks in the Outer Sectors, and if you don't have a good map or Pathfinder you'll be hopelessly lost in a day. It's a surprise that the citizens of Sector 11 turned out half as civilized as they did."-Luel, itinerant explorer
Geography
Sector 11 is one of the flatter sectors, and one of the most sparsely populated. As charted, it covers roughly 200 km2 stretching out from the Northern border of Sector 10 out into the Horizon, and is bordered on all sides by Concrete Wastes. It has few structures that reach over three stories tall. Most unusually, Sector 11 possesses several Strongholds, structures surrounded by massive walls of gleaming steel and concrete, which house the majority of the Sector's settlements.
Fauna & Flora
As with many locations in the Eternal City, no beast or plant is truly "native" to Sector 11. Various species of tree and shrub are imported from more forested districts to line the streets and oxygenate the air, some of which have been around since the first Citizens awoke from their slumber. Sector 11 is all but devoid of rodents and scavengers, and what few remain must avoid the fastidious Custodians to eke out their meager living.
Natural Resources
Sector 11's primary resource is the abundance of Scrapyards, areas where broken infrastructure has yet to be fully removed by the Custodians. These sites are rich sources of metal, glass, and other raw materials available to the canny scavenger.
Its secondary resource is Reservoir 22b, a source of clean water that the citizens of the High City utilize for farming and drinking water.
The third and final resource of Sector 11 is a network of computer terminals, closely guarded by both the denizens of Sector 11 and by the Custodians.
