Xavier Courbet is a pirate in the very sense of the world. This male water genasi has spent the better part of 25 years amassing wealth, skilled crewmembers and a reputation as an excellent captain in naval combat.

He wears a black leather jacket, simple black trousers and some very weathered leather boots. Over the head, he sometimes puts on a cloak that is situated on the jacket.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

During his young childhood, he was extremely poor and rarely had more than one meal a day. His parents were murdered by operatives of The Trithian Dynasty in his teens. He spent years on the streets of River's Reach trying to make end's meat. In the year 865 TA, he snuck on a ship bound for Mistbreak. The Mistfolk, as they are called are outside of the rule of the trithian dynasty and is very much a grey zone in terms of the law. There, whoever has the money rules. He joined with a pirate's crew at the age of 15 and obtained his first ship only years later. His primary motivation for doing all of this was to make sure that he or any under his employment would never go hungry another day in their lives. He thus tries to accumulate as much wealth as possible and lives in relative luxury.

He speaks with a clear french accent, very often with lots of insults if he's in liking or someone he's close to. It is mostly enemies that he is very polite too, at least in an intimidating way.

Wealth & Financial state

Xavier distinguished himself early through his business-centric mind, obtaining his first ship at just 17 years old. Since then he has spent many years building a sizable fleet of ships. It is said that his wealth rivals some younger dragons' hordes in terms of just raw coinage in addition to countless art pieces and other stolen goods.
