Grew up in the steel yard, very much has his roots in the community. Family were unwilling to go to an enclave if it meant that their first child would be Normalized. Instilled with a strong work ethic but little in the way of specialist skills, Edwin took to bar work from a young age. He enjoyed it and was popular with the customers, offering a sympathetic ear and a kind word when needed. Eventually, with some money from his parents, he was able to set up his own bar.
