The Children in The Elysium Archipelago | World Anvil

The Children

Also called The Flock, They are the most abundant demographic of Sinister's family. These are civilians and common people who are freed, branded and infused with a fraction of the Nether. They range from doctors to musicians to those who devote their entire lives to basking in Sinister's glory, usually dressed in common black clothing. They populate the Obelisk Obscura and the Amethyst Forest most densely but they have been known to travel to and from Masters Island and the Sechurian Helm. The greatest danger they pose to the nonbelievers is their altered willpower, which their fragment of Nether most influences. Combined with their swarm mentality in the midst of conflict, they can quickly overpower any threatening forces that are not prepared for them. They have no special abilities in particular other than their immense willpower, making them similar to rabid zombies or robots as nonbelievers have frequently insulted them to be. The Children usually attack in a tribal, fundamental fashion, using knives, arrows, teeth, nails and primitive, basic street fighting to force their way to glory. Additionally, they think better as a family than individually, working together in order to achieve victory in the name of Achlys.
